President’s Message

October – November 2025

This time last year, we were excited for the upcoming election in November. We were all engaged and active, working hard to elect our first female President. And then the devastating news came that we lost, and we are still trying to recover and answer the question, “How could this happen?” I believe we are regaining our strength and determination, while understanding the need of balance, taking care of ourselves while remaining active.

At our October meeting, Kay updated us on Project 2025 and Project Esther as well as leaving us with a challenge of learning how to communicate and have conversations with those who don’t agree with us, not an easy task to undertake.

On this Saturday, October 18th we have the opportunity to be active and make our voices heard. There will be a NO KINGS protest on all four (4) corners of 99th and Bell from 9am-11am. There will be a Golf Cart Cruise immediately following the protest.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION:

Please be sure not park close to buildings in public lots and Bell Rec Center. Leave those spaces for business patrons and RCSC activities (Library, Clubs, Bowling, Cafe, etc). Golf Cart Cruise participants can securely park over by the Farmer’s Market.
