President’s Message

March/April

The news is coming at us so fast and furious it is sometimes hard to keep up
with everything that is going on. It is almost like playing wack-a-mole, you think
you have a handle on one thing and something else pops up as soon as you
turn around. Our monthly meeting speakers will be continuing to not only inform
us as to what is happening, but give us ideas on how we can participate and
make a difference at a level we comfortable.

Rich, our WebMaster, continues to post upcoming events, which are many, as
they are shared with us. If you are aware of any marches, protests, campaigns,
etc., please email them to me or another board member for approval. The
SCDC website (suncitydems.com) will have the most up to date information that
is available to us.

Our speaker for April will be from the ACLU. The ACLU is critical at this time of
turmoil and I am looking forward to learning about what they are doing and how
we can help combat many of the illegal activities that are taking place in the US
at this time.

We are stronger together than alone and that is what makes us so formidable.

Keep up the good work, stay safe and take breaks, we are in it for the long haul.
